Ice Den is home to the most competitive adult hockey programs in the state. The Coyotes Adult Hockey League consists of more than 550 adults on 36 teams in five skill divisions participating year-round in a Spring/Summer season and a spring/summer season. Sanctioned by USA Hockey, the CAHL features structured league play, as well as seasonal camps and clinics. In addition the CAHL has played host to a variety of national and international hockey tournaments, including the USA Hockey Over-30 National Tournament in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008. |
Experience the Difference
All CAHL leagues and programs are played under the auspices of USA Hockey and all events are played at the Ice Den, a state-of-the-art training facility in North Scottsdale. In addition to (2) NHL-sized ice surfaces, the Ice Den also has a 12,500 sq/ft Mountainside Fitness Platinum Club.
Through regular captain and committee meetings, the league strives to provide a structure that’s conducive to fair and safe play. Each year, league staff incorporates new rules and procedures that have been adopted by the league and incorporates them into the annual CAHL Player Handbook In addition, divisional parity is also a high priority for the CAHL. While the league understands the desire for teams to form based on friendships and convenience, it also has a responsibility to make the games competitive. As a result, the CAHL staff does reserve the right to move players or whole teams into more appropriate skill levels if necessary.
